We are seeking an Interior Design Associate to help us meet client demand in home staging and redesign projects

 The primary role will be Home Staging, Duties Include:

Helping with the overall design plan, packing, loading, unloading and moving furnishings, installing the design elements, and decorating the spaces. Creates cohesive design looks for an entire house such as living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, and more; styling the spaces with furniture, lighting, art, and decor.

 The secondary role will be Interior Design, Duties Include:

Documenting client meeting notes, measure and create floor plans and elevations, create mood and design boards, draft 2D and 3D designs, conduct sourcing in the field and online, and conduct design installations.

 Job Requirements:

Must have at one year of hands-on interior decorating, staging, or styling work experience; hourly rate increases with experience and education
Must Be Proficient in MS Office Applications and Internet proficiency

Interior design software experience preferred but not required
Proven attention to detail and organizational skills a must; with the affinity for being meticulous
Proven innate design talent with the ability to express and translate creative ideas
Must be able to juggle multiple priorities and shifting deadlines
Proven relationship building with clients, vendors, and community members
Must have reliable, personal transportation required for all times of the day and any day of the week; will need to drive to and from job sites throughout the Puget Sound region; Proof of auto insurance required.

Have a personal cell phone required to make and accept business related calls, texts, and e-mails
Proven “do-it-yourself” home improvement skills; i.e. understand how to use tools, hang items on a wall, utilize a tape measure, etc.
Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with a team member; will be lifting furniture, hanging items on a wall, installing hardware, and climbing ladders.

 Hours / Days / Schedule:

The position can be part time or fulltime, flexible schedule, scheduling and number of hours can be discussed during the interview.
An average work week is Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., however must be open to working Saturdays, and earlier and later hours during peak season or large projects.

Salary / Wage / Benefits:

Hourly wage is negotiable between $17.00 and $18.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include employee discount on furniture, mileage reimbursement for travel to and from job sites, sick leave, and family medical leave.
